As we expand our presence, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales to spearhead our growth in this exciting sector. 

Role Overview:

The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy for our AI solutions within sports leagues and clubs. This role requires a deep understanding of the sports industry, a strong network of connections, and a passion for leveraging technology to transform the way sports organizations operate. 

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement a robust sales strategy that aligns with company objectives, targeting sports leagues and clubs across North America.
  • Relationship Management: Leverage existing connections within the sports industry to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at leagues and clubs.
  • Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, driving sales growth through innovative solutions that meet client needs.
  • Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our AI solution to effectively communicate their value proposition and benefits to potential clients.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales tactics and product development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and enhance the client experience.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10-15 years of sales experience in the sports industry, with a proven track record of selling technology solutions.
  • Network: Exceptional connections within sports leagues, clubs, and related organizations; ability to leverage relationships for business development.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the sports ecosystem, including ticketing, fan engagement, sponsorship, and revenue generation.
  • Sales Acumen: Strong negotiation skills and a results-oriented mindset, with the ability to close high-value deals.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience leading sales teams and driving performance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
